8″x10″ acrylic on canvas board.

I had leftover seafoam green paint from another work, and I wasn’t going to waste it. So, I took all the blank, available supports I could find and coated them with it. This canvas board had been intended as a practice surface for roses (for a commission for a mural), which I had sketched out in graphite. As I painted, I found I could still see the lines from one of the boxes, so I worked with them, though not to a realistic degree.
Mostly I was just playing around with form and color.
